Current Ambassadors:
Kelvin
Even though I’m currently staying in Toronto, with an interest in medical science I will dedicate myself to the UBC Life Sciences Circle Program remotely. As an ambassador, I am able to enrich medical-related knowledge and develop communication skills.
Gina
Hi everyone! My name is Gina and I am in grade 11 at University Hill Secondary. Although it has been only a few months since I have joined, I really enjoy being a part of a group of people who have similar interests as me. This circle has helped me engage in activities/volunteer within my interest (science) but I am also very excited to explore the different faculties we now offer! I have a wide range of interests such as ultimate frisbee, playing piano and hanging out with my friends
I am super thrilled to continue helping out as an ambassador.
Eizabeth
My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a Grade 12 student at the Surrey Academy of Innovative Learning. I’m a fond lover of all things STEAM related, and I love sharing my knowledge and passion of STEAM with others! As an ambassador for UniLink, I am able to engage and connect with more youth who are interested in the same subjects as me. In my spare time, I love to read, play piano & violin, and I love to sew! I look forward to working with other UniLink ambassadors and members!
Past Ambassadors:
Ana
Being part of the UBC Life Sciences Circle allowed me form part a unique group of unique people with whom I can share and develop my interests in the Sciences. As an ambassador, I was able to enrich this community by luring passionate students from my high school, and as a result, they explored their interests by learning from the talented professors at UBC!
Annie
With an interest in both STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Marketing, the UBC Life Sciences Circle gave me an opportunity to network with professors, UBC students, and of course, high school students from around the Lower Mainland. As an upcoming first year student at UBC, I was able to build a strong connection with individuals through this Circle before heading straight into university. My job as a volunteer Ambassador is to promote and advertise the opportunities that are offered by this Circle and to assist members when needed.
